Across this country, developers are changing landscapes, transforming neighborhoods, and driving up real estate prices, making life unaffordable for so many people in so many neighborhoods. Move On Up exists to serve as a counterweight to rampant development in Cincinnati, helping people stay in places they grew up, today and for generations to come. Every time you donate to our cause, you help make a neighborhood safe from developers only out for profit, keeping lifelong residents in the community they love, at a price they can afford. Community first approach
Move On Up begins with the client and the community. We ask: what do you need and how can we partner with you to achieve it? From the board to the contractors to the realtors, even the banks, our process begins with the client’s hopes and dreams, history and family, to craft an approach that gets us all to the right place. At Move On Up, we ask ourselves: if Jesus were a developer, how would things get done? You can substitute your inspirational leader who cared for the needs of others first and ask the same. In the end, we arrive at the same place: how can we best serve our clients and the neighborhoods we love.
Creating a
replicable model
Partnering with local businesses such as realtors, contractors, and nonprofit agencies, Move On Up pours back into the community to help build resilience in neighborhoods. Our method of operating has been created from the ground up with the intention of crafting a replicable model which individuals, religious organizations, and others can borrow, so that from sea to shining sea, communities can stand against runaway housing inflation and create environments that benefit all citizens.
